We’re grateful to Spectrum News 13 for the spotlight on our street medicine initiative! This partnership with True Health brings primary and preventive health care directly to unsheltered neighbors in east Orlando.
Every week, rain or shine, our outreach team and a nurse practitioner from True Health go out into the field to meet people where they are. They offer vitals checks, wound care, screenings, referrals, and a Lyft to appointments when needed. We are so grateful to Orange County, Florida Government for believing in this project and supporting us!
Everyone deserves to feel like they matter. As one of our neighbors shared with News 13: “I feel like I’m someone… I don’t feel like I’m a nobody.”

Samaritan Resource Center (SRC) is a drop-in resource center serving individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness in East Orange County.
As a faith-based organization, we provide compassionate, housing-focused support through case management, mental health counseling, healthcare, employment services, street outreach, and daily access to essential resources such as meals, clothing, showers, laundry, mail services and hygiene supplies—helping our neighbors take the next step toward stability and self-sufficiency.
