As an entry point into homeless services, the SRC provides coordinated assessment to identify specific service needs and barriers to stabilized housing. Each client receives their services based on the results of the personalized assessment and they are then served through a service plan, tailored to meet their needs and lead to safe and affordable housing.

It is important to know that the SRC is a faith-based, volunteer operated resource center for the homeless and at-risk member of East Orange County. We are NOT a shelter. We provide services Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you or someone you know needs help, you have come to the right place. We are a drop-in center where you can get food, and life-changing services to help adult individuals get back on their feet. Please contact us at 407.482.0600 to get more details.
We serve adult individuals that are experiencing homelessness in East Orange County. Must have legal identification e.g. Social Security card, drivers license, and/or birth certificate.
All of our clients need clean cloths… However, since the majority of our clients are men, we are always in need of jeans sizes 28 to 34 as well as underwear medium and large, and large T-shirts. We also have high demand for tennis shoes and walking shoes of all sizes. But sizes 9.5 to 12 are very difficult to obtain.
At the SRC we provide showers for our clients and we often need soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, shaving cream, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, mouthwash, etc.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! The Samaritan Resource Center could not exist without the help of dedicated people like you. Whether you are interested in volunteering individually or with a group, there are endless opportunities for engagement. If you have time, passion, or a special talent, you can help the SRC with its mission by volunteering. Please call us at 407.482.0600.
