SUCCESS STORIES

  • Story 3

    January 29, 2018

This week we have even more great news! Volunteers at the SRC went and helped our friend Hugo clean out his house last week. It seems like a little task, but it will have a big impact for Hugo and a couple of our other clients! Hugo can now rent out rooms to other clients who need housing, and in return, Hugo will be receiving some income from the rentals. It’s a win-win for everyone this week! Having a wonderful week everyone! Thank you for allowing us to help Hugo and so many others like him.

She has been sleeping in her car for the last two years, but luckily, she was recently approved for housing! Yay! Congratulations Sharon! We are so excited for you! This week we would also love to thank the Central Florida Navy League for their generous donation to the Samaritan Resource Center. Thank you for allowing us to help Sharon and so many others like her.

As we previously posted about Aaron, he also volunteers much of his time at the Samaritan Resource Center and has continued to do so even though he is now employed. Aaron we are so lucky to have you and so VERY proud of you for your new job! Congrats!
