We have great news! Shoes are an item that are desperately needed by the homeless community. Luckily, we receive over 40 pairs of shoes from the Track Shack! They have been donating shoes to the SRC since the summer of 2018.

Carmenza U. Gonzalez, Executive Director made a presentation about the SRC to the President & CEO and Management Team of Voxx International in Orlando. The group donated items to the SRC and is interested in finding a way to volunteer to the SRC.

Dr. Ross, AdventHealth’s Residence Program provided medical services for our clients at the Samaritan Resource Center. We are very fortunate to be able to provide medical attention to our clients while they are getting other services at the SRC.

Jacob (pictured here with Sheila Sablain, Operations Directors, SRC) recently celebrated his birthday, and for his birthday he requested donations for Samaritan Resource Center. He brought in two checks to the SRC.

The SRC was proud to host a tour for a team of seen from AdventHealth to learn more about our medical needs for our clients and propose solutions. Chairman of SRC’s Board, Bill “Roto” Reuter, gave them a warm welcome to kick off the tour.

Today we are Celebrating Roy’s birthday at the SRC. A few years back, Roy was a client of ours and later volunteered until he was hired by the SRC as the custodian. Roy is never late for work and has not missed a day of work.
